David Beckham x adidas Ultra BOOST 19 DB99 Drops This Week!
For many, David Beckham is known for his incredible professional football career; 20 seasons in total, amassing 19 major trophies across four countries. But despite his on-pitch success, he’s probably known by most for his off-field style, and his marketability surrounding that. From fragrances to hair care, the always sharply manicured man has been around the fashion industry for a decade. Now he returns to adidas to blend his two worlds, sports, and fashion, on a special-edition sneaker. The David Beckham x adidas Ultra BOOST DB99 picks up where his on-field career both started and left off, arriving in white, black and red, the trio of colors associated with his beloved Manchester United — where he became a household name — and of his last professional franchise, Paris Saint-Germain.
Arriving with an all-white Primeknit upper, vivid hits of Solar Red are ushered in across the milky-translucent heel clip, and beneath the DB99 tongue tag. White returns on the leather lace cage, DB99-printed BOOST midsoles, and David Beckham-branded insoles, and the pair comes complete with black Continental rubber outsoles.

David’s obsession with the number 99 is highlighted throughout his business career, including production and grooming companies that bear the number. 1999 was a pivotal year for Beckham, marrying his wife of 20 years Victoria, as well as helping Manchester United score the mythical Treble, and finished second in the Ballon d’Or — so it’s no surprise that the motif makes a return on this collaboration.
Pairs are arriving on adidas.com in China on October 16th, but we’re yet to hear anything from the Three Stripes regarding a wider release. So while you wait for more info, take a peep at the official image set below, and be sure to keep your eyes on our adidas news feedfor updates.
