The Three Stripes and Disney continue to work together to bring some of the world's most beloved animated characters to footwear form. The latest linkup between the longtime partners focuses on 2016's Zootopia, crafting the popular Adidas Gazelle in a Kids-exclusive pair inspired by Judy Hopps.
A rookie in the Zootopia Police Department, Hopps goes against all odds to bring justice to her new home, making unlikely acquaintances along the way. Her commemorative Adidas Originals release features a soft-colored presentation rooted in her appearance, with suede construction across the upper opting for a grey look. Contrasting panels throughout take on a white finish, with profile swooshes and collar lining replacing traditional leather with soft faux fur. Judy Hopps' carrot-shaped pen and Zootopia Police badge appear on the right and left shoes' lateral heels, respectively.
Other nods to the beloved film's protagonist arrives via the label on the top-of-the-tongue and a stitched-on figurehead on the spine. Lastly, the gum-bottomed Kids' sneaker arrives with special tissue paper depicting Officer Hopps and other citizens of Zootopia.
Firm Adidas.com release details haven't been disclosed by the brand as of yet, but that's expected to change throughout the second-half of the year. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the "Judy Hopps" Gazelle below. Pairs will arrive in Youth and Infant sizing.
