CLOT x Adidas Espadrille Pack Expands with Samba and Stan Smith

Edison Chen and CLOT are taking their partnership with Adidas Originals s into new territory, as the duo prepares a fresh set of espadrille-inspired sneakers for release. Following previous reworks of the Stan Smith, this drop marks the very first time the Samba has been brought into the fold.

The CLOT x Adidas Samba Espadrille takes the beloved T-toe classic and outfits it with a jute-wrapped sole for a summertime-ready look. It's upper leans on the original White/Black colorway but introduces a textile base and subtle tweaks to its construction. The use of the Gazelle Indoor sole introduces an altered profile, while revised overlays at the toe, tongue, and heel create a distinct silhouette that retains the Samba’s roots.

Alongside it, the CLOT x Adidas Stan Smith Espadrille returns with fresh updates. The shoe keeps its crisp White/Green palette but now features intricate beadwork at the heel, adding a playful, handcrafted finish. The espadrille tooling beneath ties both pairs together, pushing them beyond their sportswear DNA and into lifestyle territory.

The espadrille makeover continues CLOT’s exploration of cross-cultural design, blending Eastern influences with European heritage footwear while preserving the iconic status of each model. With both the Samba and Stan Smith lined up, this capsule highlights how deep-rooted classics can still find new expression under Chen’s vision.
