Edison Chen’s transition from Nike to Adidas has been nothing short of monumental, with each release under the CLOT banner reinforcing the seamless alignment between Chen’s creative vision and Adidas’ design ethos. Some would argue the move feels even more natural for CLOT, and with the unveiling of the new two-pair pack of crepe-soled Gazelles, it’s easy to see why each drop has resonated so strongly.

Taking cues from Ronnie Fieg’s Kith x Clarks x Adidas collaborations, Chen has introduced chunky crepe soles to the timeless Gazelle silhouette, blending classic terrace style with contemporary craftsmanship. But the upgrades don’t stop there. The design sees a shift to satin uppers, with exposed overclocked stitching, adding a raw, deconstructed aesthetic to the sneaker.

The pack features two distinct colorways. The off-white pair carries CLOT’s signature Eastern-style embroidery, a hallmark of the brand’s deep cultural storytelling. Conversely, the blue version plays with contrast, featuring green Three Stripe overlays trimmed in yellow, making for a bold visual statement. Both pairs are finished with gold-foil Gazelle branding, along with co-branded heels and insoles, rounding out the premium execution.

Chen's silk-covered Adidas Originals duo will see an exclusive launch during ComplexCon Hong Kong (March 21-23). A wider Adidas.com global release hasn't been confirmed by the brand, but that could change in the future.
