First Look // adidas Ultra BOOST “Chinese New Year”

Happy BOOST Year!

The next Chinese New Year might belong to the Pig, but It looks like, for adidas fans at least, 2019 will be the year of the BOOST,

To celebrate the CNY festivities, adidas are dropping a special edition Ultra BOOST, dressed in traditional Chinese colors of red and gold. That tradition sprouts from New Years gifts, red envelopes that are often decorated with gold Chinese characters, such as like happiness and wealth, to bring good luck for the year ahead.

Aside from the all-red Primeknit upper, it includes a golden Panda logo on the tongue, with a symbol on the heel, finished off with a stark white full-length BOOST midsole and black rubber outsole.

We’re still waiting on release dates, but we can assume it will release around Chinese New Year, which is on the 5th of February, 2019.
