adidas Harden Vol. 10 "Imma Be A Star" Drops Dec. 15

adidas is closing out the year with a major headline for its basketball lineup, delivering James Harden’s next signature sneaker just in time for the holiday slate. The adidas Harden Vol. 10 “Imma Be A Star” marks the official arrival of Harden’s tenth model, a direct continuation of the sculptural design language that defined the Vol. 9 while pushing the line further into its experimental aesthetic.

Where the Vol. 9 set the stage with its molded exoskeletal framework, the Harden Vol. 10 builds on that identity through a new ripple-style TPU shell that wraps confidently around the upper. Concentric sweeps along the sidewalls and heel give the silhouette a fluid, kinetic look, echoing the exaggerated paneling that has become a hallmark of adidas Basketball’s modern design strategy. As with the previous model, an inner bootie construction sits underneath the shell for a secure, glove-like fit.

The “Imma Be A Star” colorway delivers a more expressive debut, pairing a metallic-tinged upper with sculpted side panels and a tonal palette that blends performance utility with on-court flash. The midsole and outsole maintain the semi-translucent podded look previewed in earlier teases, retaining the same familiar tooling structure that players praised on the Vol. 9 for its stability and energy return.

While the silhouette remains largely unchanged in its foundational shape, the Vol. 10 serves as a refinement rather than a reinvention. It’s a sharper visual evolution that keeps the cushioning setup and lockdown approach that worked so well last season, while shifting the upper into a more daring direction—fitting for Harden’s long-running design lineage.
