Lionel Messi and his Inter Miami squad might've not had the start to the FIFA Club World Cup that they were hoping for, but there's still ample tournament left to prove naysayers wrong. The Argentine megastar is set to launch an Adidas Superstar duo before the competition ends.
Messi wore a special edition shell-toe on the first day of the Club World Cup, piquing savvy fans' interest, while getting the silhouette on newcomers' radars for the first time. The pair featured an off white rubber toe cap and "Clear Pink" upper donning partnership-specific branding on the top-of-the-tongue and lateral heel. Thanks to photos acquired by Elden Monitors, it's been confirmed that the pink pair will be accompanied by a second style ahead of autumn.
Tamer than its counterpart, the follow-up Messi x Superstar features a predominantly "Crew White" finish across its 55-year-old design. "Semi Blue Burst"—the same color that animates the newly-launched Inter Miami 25/26 Third Kit Collection—appears via profile 3-Stripes, tongue label, and trefoil logo on the Achilles' heel panel. Underfoot, the classic style includes a light gum brown outsole that's perfect for South Florida.
