Manchester United's 25/26 Third Jersey Honors the Club's First-Ever Black Kit
Ruben Amorim's Manchester United has a lot to prove to its fans during the 2025-26 English Premier League season. Important offseason signings and moves are promising, but a final standing on the table has yet to be seen. In any case, the club will compete in style, which now includes a commemorative Third Jersey by Adidas.
Akin to the "Theatre of Dreams" inspired 25/26 Home Jersey, Man U's latest shirt draws inspiration from the club's rich history. A black base is accented with blue-and-yellow elements that pop against the understated backdrop. Savvy fans will instantly recognize the color trifecta as a nod to the "Red Devils'" first official black kit from 1993-94 famously worn by Eric Cantona.
Marketing material for the Third uniform drives home the idea that the look honors Manchester United's legends.

As with all Third shirts by the Three Stripes this season, the newly-launched top forms part of the Adidas Originals division. The brand's trefoil logo appears on the right side of the chest, while Man U's iconic crest takes over the left side. The collar abandons the polo style featured on the 93/94 edition, but dons an elegant V-shape. Shoulders and sleeves enjoy more blue-and-yellow accents, with the jersey's Long Sleeve version prominently featuring yellow flair.
Interestingly enough, hometown rivals Manchester City will also sport a black kit during the 25/25 EPL campaign.
Enjoy detailed photos of the Third Jersey and accompanying collection ahead. Items are now available via Adidas.com/Manchester_United with prices ranging between $20 (socks) to $160 (Authentic Long Sleeve Jersey).
