In recent times, skate legend, renowned artist, and Three Stripe icon Mark Gonzales has had a sole focus on the adidas Superstar. This year, though, the Gonz gets to do his thing on arguably the brand’s second-most iconic silhouette, the Ultra BOOST, delivering a Shmoo-covered colorway in subdued hues.

Presented in “Grey Three/Core Black/Shadow Navy,” this UltraBOOST DNA comprises a full Primeknit upper and the signature full-length BOOST sole unit — but the running shoe’s familiarities stop there. Gonz adds his archetype “Shmoo” graphic across the Primeknit, intersecting this with a reflective thread for a design that’s quintessentially Gonz, injected with fun all over. The design is almost camouflage-esque, while a semi-translucent grey Three Stripe-incorporating lace cage covers the busy design.
