Though the even has been canceled for 2021, the McDonald’s All-American Game lives on through its pre-planned footwear capsules that celebrate one of the most anticipated events in high school hoops. Now, after previewing Eric Emanuel’s Mickey D’s take on the Forum High last month, comes an in-line release from the Three Stripes, the McDonald’s All-American adidas Pro Model 2G.
Celebrating the beloved Golden Arches more so than the event itself, the pair appears in a very franchise-friendly colorway. Aside from the event-branded tongue, the pair arrives in the brand’s signature two tones, with golden yellow making up the majority of the build, from the patent leather uppers to the midsole, with flashes of red saved for select embellishments. Three Stripes and “i’m lovin’ it” branding at the profiles make up most of the red, with ankle detail and some underfoot tread following suit. More subtly, debossed Golden Arches hit the ankle, and work with other tonal branding hits at the sole unit and shell toe to complete the design.

And while a release is currently unconfirmed, it’s very possible that we’ll see a launch of the McDonald’s All-American adidas Pro Model 2G via adidas.com very soon — so be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for updates.
