A couple of weeks ago, Adidas shook up the world of Formula 1® by announcing a multi-year partnership with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS. In an official press release, the Three Stripes' CEO Bjørn Gulden shared that the relationship would produce high-quality product inspired by the team for fans. Today, the world catches an early glimpse of Gulden's promise.
Part of a larger collection for Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 by Adidas, the newly-surfaced Superstar takes on a bold, near-fluorescent color scheme. An eye-catching 'Turbo' claims most of the real estate across the Adidas Originals model, divvying up details like the 3-Stripes branding and Achilles' heel panel with classic 'Core Black' contrast. Sole units also join the highlighter-pink fun–which previously appeared on special 'Diva Pink' apparel prepped by Tommy Hilfiger and Awake NY in 2023. Logos for the German F1 squad land on the tongue and spine, with the latter's branding opting for a shimmering 'Metallic Silver' finish.
