adidas and Miami Bring Back the Hurricanes’ Iconic 2001 Uniforms

adidas and the Miami Hurricanes are bringing back one of the most recognizable looks in program history, recreating the uniforms worn by Miami’s 2001 national championship-winning team.

The collection revisits the orange, green and white look associated with that title season, bringing the throwback styling back more than two decades later as Miami celebrates one of the defining teams in college football history.

The 2001 Hurricanes finished the season undefeated and captured the national championship, with the uniforms from that run remaining closely tied to one of Miami football’s most celebrated eras.

The collection also arrives during an interesting stretch for the program’s uniform history. Miami is currently outfitted by adidas, but the university will officially reunite with Nike in July 2027 under a new multi-year partnership.
