Long-standing partners NEIGHBORHOODand adidas will reunite for an early-2022 capsule to kick off the new year.

Earlier this week, the Japanese streetwear label teased a first look at two paisley-prepped NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas NMD_R1 releases delivered in their signature minimal styling. In typical fashion, NEIGHBORHOOD delivers the duo in simple tonal constructs of navy and black, though here they do move towards the in-vogue aged-look sole units that are taking the scheme by storm. As a matter of fact, paisley is, too, with the heritage print seen on everything from the Nike Dunk to the Air Force 1 in recent weeks. There’s a slew of suede overlays, too, whilst branding completes the pair with debossed Trefoils in the back, NEIGHBORHOOD wordmarks at the forefoot insert, and co-branded insoles.

In addition to the imagery shared, NEIGHBORHOOD has also revealed a release date of January 2nd, 2022 exclusively at Neighborhood.jp and at Neighborhood stores.
