Over the last seven decades, adidas has showcased a relentless pursuit of performance innovation to help athletes unlock what was previously thought of as unfathomable. Recent concepts (CLIMACOOL+ Slides, Adizero Crazylight Pro) previewed at the brand's Home of Innovation summit demonstrate that this hasn't changed, but the German juggernaut also continues to pay attention to culture and fashion.
This is where the adidas Originals Team comes in.
As the brand looks to make a concerted push around the Stan Smith ahead of the tennis model's 54th anniversary, the Three Stripes is empowering creatives across the world to shape food, music, art, design, style, and community. One such cohort is known as the adidas NYC Creative Class, which consists of six New York-based creatives.
Each invited member brings something district to the fabric of the "Big Apple."
