As Patrick Mahomes gears up for another grueling Super Bowl run, adidas is making sure that the 2018 NFL MVP is fully equipped for the season ahead — including his first signature adidas shoe. The 25-year-old superstar’s adidas Mahomes 1.0 IMPACT FLX (read: “Flex”) is inspired by the quarterback’s “now or never” mentality and features performance benefits informed by Patrick’s vigorous workout schedule. Its lightweight construction is essential for speed and is reinforced by wavy high-rise TPU overlays for stability and dynamic movement. The Ripstop upper works in-hand with a tongueless sock collar for comfort and breathability. Extra comfort is added underfoot by way of responsive BOOST cushioning, while customary co-branding from the Three Stripes and Patrick filter throughout the pair to complete the design.
