Pink Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu Drops March 27th

After some trail-inspired experimentation and subsequent absence from the market, it appears that Pharrell and adidas are ready to reintroduce the original model of the NMD Hu, complete with its flat rubber sole unit. The long-awaited return to form has been previewed in many forms of late, including the just-dropped “Extra Eye” Pack, and follow-up regional-exclusive options. Now adidas will look to drip-feed the drops of eight solid color options (all colorways previewed earlier here) — starting next week with the release of three colorways, including this pink-popped option.

Consistent with the collection, the pair features a solid color woven upper atop tonal BOOST sole units, color-match caging, inserts, and laces — all tinted here in soft pastel pink. It’s joined by black liners, trail-inspired laces, and signature forefoot embroidery, the latter reading “Human Race” in Chinese.

Retailers Shop Nice Kicks have announced that pairs of the Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu “Pink” will arrive alongside the “Bold Gold” and “Aqua”options on November 7th — Now postponed until further notice. Update 03.21.21 After it was originally postponed from its November 7th release last year, a confirmed drop date for Pharrell’s pink adidas NMD Hu has been set for March 27th.
