The partnership was teased in January during Paris Fashion Week® via a co-branded MothTech™ T-Shirt worn byTommy Hubert, Head of Public Relations at SATISFY®. Over the weekend, the Three Stripes and French activewear brand hosted a closed loop race in Arizona called THE CIRCLE PIT, inviting runners from all over the globe to test their collaboration under the southwest U.S. sun.
Several MothTech™ T-Shirt have been developed as part of the SATISFY® and adidas partnership, but the debut capsule is headlined by three pairs of the Adizero Adios Pro 4 marathon raver. Additional apparel and accessories round out the collection, which mixes high-performing materials with a punk-inspired aesthetic that differs from typical running gear.

Modeled by Tommy Hubert, Head of Public Relations at SATISFY®, the lone item previewed as part of an inaugural linkup with adidas Running sees the SATISFY® MothTech™ T-Shirt get the 3-Stripes-treatment.

MothTech™ is a running apparel technology that sees laser-cut holes strategically placed on high-quality organic cotton tees. Inspired by vintage moth-eaten tops, SATISFY®'s design leverages this aesthetic for maximum ventilation, placing holes in high-heat areas. The shirt unveiled during PFW sees adidas' Badge of Sport emblem recreated on the front à la "moth-eaten" style, bringing together two powerhouses within the world of running as sport and lifestyle.
Although SATISFY® is committed to developing its own apparel and footwear styles, the adidas partnership will grant it a global logistics infrastructure and grant access to a decades-old manufacturing network. Hubert was seen wearing a pair of the Adizero Evo SL ATR, a popular running shoe that could see the SATISFY®-treatment before the end of 2026.
SATISFY®'s preview could also be seen as a shot at Nike, Inc. In January 2025, the Parisian performance imprint called out the Swoosh over a Dri-FIT shirt that closely resembled the MothTech™ aesthetic.

"We were surprised to see a product from Nike surface that closely mirrors our distinctive design. To clarify, SATISFY has no involvement in this project," expressed SATISFY® in an official statement. "The design appears to draw heavily from our signature MothTech™ aesthetic, which is disappointing to see from a major corporation known to defend its own image and intellectual property so fiercely."
An official collab between adidas and SATISFY®, then, positions Nike's biggest competitor with a relative newcomer it might've referenced in hopes of gaining market share. The Swoosh continues to win over audiences with footwear proposals like the Vomero Premium and Pegasus Premium, but the clash with SATISFY® was substantial enough to make some runners take their business elsewhere.
Continue ahead to enjoy early looks at the Made in Portgual MothTech™ t-shirt. Product is expected to launch via adidas.com and SATISFY® channels between August and November.
