After a handful of — let’s be frank – lackluster collaborative adidas efforts from Sean Wotherspoon, it seems like the Round Two founder has finally found his feet, with his new Gazelles amongst his most anticipated releases since the legendary Air Max 97. While one of his two new trainers is built with Hemp, his other restores his original vision at Nike with a second corduroy-clad colorway on the Indoor iteration of the classic Three Stripe trainer.
Though it utilizes the same textile as his Nike and ASICS collabs — and its bursting with color, too — the use of colorful graphic prints is entirely now, but still fits well within the Wotherspoon wheelhouse. Countering the upper and tongue is a simple navy suede Three Stripe and eyestay overlay set, with burgundy bringing in the rear; complete with SW’s signature embroidered motif.
