Star Wars, adidas to Release X-Wing Inspired Ultra BOOST in Lead-Up to “The Rise Of Skywalker”

December is going to be a battle of epic proportions. Not only will we be fighting the crowds to secure pairs from the epic Holiday 2019 lineup, but Star Wars will be wrapping up their nine-part Skywalker saga when The Rise Of Skywalker hits cinemas. To celebrate the occasion, the film franchise is linking with long-time partners adidasfor a series of footwear pieces that will intrigue both sneakerheads and Warsies alike. We know of a few releases on the way, but only now are we getting to see first looks at the capsule, with this Star Wars x adidas Ultra BOOST S&L “X-Wing” the first to officially surface.

Arriving in a tonal grey makeup paired with bold pops of orange, the pair presents X-Wing Starfighter schematics imposed onto the suede heel-counter and BOOST midsole, along with other franchise-specific callouts, including “The Force Will Be With You Always” glazed onto the heel pulls, special graphic insoles and the symbol of the Jedi Order printed on the dubraes.
