UNDEFEATED x NEIGHBORHOOD x adidas ZX 8000 Arrives April 16th

From collaborations with Sean Wotherspoon, LEGO, and High Snobriety to in-line releases like the delicious Frozen Lemonade, the adidas ZX 8000 has continued to reinvent itself in the new decade. Now it’s popped up in the middle of a three-way collaboration with two of the biggest names in streetwear; UNDEFEATED and NEIGHBORHOOD

Of course, this isn’t the first time that both labels have collided with adidas, with the trio delivering a Micropacer and a Mid 80S back in 2014. this time, though, they’ll be delivering their two-piece effort on a significantly more marketable silhouette. Mostly staying true to NEIGHBORHOOD’s signature monochrome make, the two pairs arrive in black and white respectively, both equipped with reflective silver detail. Uppers of an ultra-heavy-duty mesh make for an intriguing build, appearing almost carbon fiber-like in appearance. From first looks below, it also appears that rear overlays of leather are countered by suede overlays at the forefoot. Stash-pocket tongues feature thick UNDEFEATED-branded banding on the left shoe (and likely NEIGHBORHOOD on the right) and rest atop tonal midsoles and gum rubber outsole. The midsole, however, is treated to a fishnet casing at the heel.

With only teaser looks shared by NEIGHBORHOOD founder Sin Takizawa, you expect to see more details of the pair emerge soon once better looks become available. UNDEFEATED Japan has officially listed up the duo of collaborative ZX 8000s for an April 16th release. Full, detailed looks at the pairs have also surfaced as a result. A wider, global release is yet to be confirmed.
