Japanese Graffiti Artist WANTO Team up with adidas Originals on a GORE-TEX Loaded Yung-1

adidas Originals has linked up once more with renowned Japanese graffiti artist WANTO, this time to deliver a Wu-Tang-vibed, GORE-TEX-loaded adidas Yung-1.

Made to mimic the gear that the 246 crew leader would wear himself while creating his work, the collection, which includes matching apparel, links into the sneakers, each sporting a black and yellow aesthetic and high-vis reflective paneling. The Yung-1 ushers in suede overlays across its GORE-TEX mesh base, and adds in a new pull tab lacing system for quick fastening.

The entire collection will be available for purchase beginning on May 30th. For those in the NYC area, adidas has opened doors to an I Want Candi exhibit at their Brooklyn Farm space in North Williamsburg; it will be open to the public on May 23rd and 24th from 3-9 PM.
