The adidas Superstar is Showing Some Heart for Valentine’s Day

For the Three-Stripe Lovers.

Move aside NMD and Ultra BOOSTs; it’s about time we showed some new love to an old favorite.

The forever-young adidas Superstar may be vacant from social media and blog coverages (my bad) in favor of adi’s younger models, but it’s consistently been there for hardcore adidas fans and casual sneaker wearers alike for decades, pulling in healthy profits along the way. So, to no one’s surprise, it makes sense that adidas will be adding the icon to it’s annual Valentine’s Day line up.

Starting with a white base, a vibrant red heart peers its eyes out from behind the lateral Three-Stripe overlays. Matched with red Trefoil branding on the heels, and gold leaf worked into the tongue and “SUPERSTAR” decal on the lateral. Pairs of the Valentine’s Day adidas Superstar are scheduled to hit international retailers tomorrow, February 1st, with a Stateside release for adidas.com still to be confirmed — so stay tuned for updates!
