HBO’s Game of Thrones fans, like sneakerheads, easily fall under the “obsessive” banner. So it was no surprise that we heard of a sneaker collaboration in the works last year. adidas is looking to hone in on pop culture once again, sharing their ultra-popular Ultra BOOST silhouette across six houses of George R.R. Martin’s hit series.
And after months and months (and months) of speculation and a few first looks, adidas have finally revealed the six-piece set to celebrate the final season of one of the most popular shows in television history. The GoT final season kicks off in April, but while we wait to see who will sit atop the Iron Throne, in what will surely be a bloody and hectic battle, adidas have officially previewed the six UB’s taking on colorway cues from the Night’s Watch, the White Walkers, House Targaryen, the Targaryen’s dragons, House Stark, and House Lannister. Each creation also adorns an associated phrase, like “Winter Is Here” for the menacing White Walkers, and “Hear Me Roar” for the debt-paying Lannisters. Other special details include GoT-branded custom insoles as well as one final house-specific detail underneath each tongue whether it be by way of a phrase or a signature crest.
Enjoy a detailed look at all six pairs below, with an expected release to coincide with the final season’s kick-off on April 14th, though that is yet to be confirmed.
