The adidas LXCON Drops this Weekend!

adidas look to gain some more lifestyle clout in 2019, with the all-new LXCON commanding the attention of trainerheads and high-fashonitas alike.

First spotted last year on feet of fashion-forward actor/director Jonah Hill, the adidas LXCON is finally set to debut. It looks like adi are chasing down the 90s as we head into 2019, with the Trefoil Brand drawing inspiration from one of their runners from 1994. But it’s not only the design that borrows from the naughty 90s, with the two debut color options a perfect fit for the period.

“Clear Brown” rocks a hard ’90s-style purple, teal, and red, with the Dad-friendly “Cloud White” sporting simple-yet-effective pops of blue and black, often seen on, well, every dad trainer from the decade.

The details on the LXCON are something else. The midfoot’s fabric Three Stripes graphic combines with plastic piping to serve double duty as both an embellishment and part of the lacing system, while a high-profile midsole ensures that the LXCON has just enough substance. Adiprene cushioning is then used to ensure exemplary comfort.
