adidas is not slowing down with their retro-styled running silhouettes, which continue to be the focus of their lifestyle offerings into 2019. To keep the wave rolling on, adidas Consortium will be introducing an all-new heritage-inspired model to market: the ZX 10.000C.

The shoe is a love letter to the throwback ZX line, so much so that the Three Stripes brought back their former Director of Footwear Creation Jacques Chassaing — the man who originally designed the line starting in 1984 — out of retirement, to make sure new silhouette was true to its original design ethos. Clearly, adidas mean business on this silhouette, and their debut colorway does not disappoint. Arriving in aqua, orange, and neutral earth tones, the ZX 10.000C incorporates vintage hues while encapsulating today’s trends. The classic heel-to-forefoot bridging Torsion support system and two-piece midsole harken back to the glory days, and it’s upper look like something straight out of the 80s, constructed in mesh, suede, and TPU.
