Kyrie Irving continues to treat his fans to ANTA KAI 1 styles inspired by personal stories. The latest example arrives in the form of two colorways referencing the sun and moon.

Throughout his professional basketball career, Irving has covered his signature sneakers in color schemes and with graphics highlighting some aspect of his story. Since joining ANTA in July 2023, the Dallas Mavericks superstar has brought his knack for storytelling to the KAI 1, one of the Chinese brand's most popular silhouettes. Previous narratives to take sneaker-form have been rooted in Irving's days at Duke University and his Lakota heritage. Two newly-surfaced takes on the hoops-ready sneaker tell the tale of two extraterrestrial figures.

The ANTA KAI 1 'Sun & Moon' Pack has already launched at select stores in the Philippines, but is bound to see a worldwide launch in the upcoming months. Each style keeps its Kyrie Irving-approved performance benefits intact, with lightweight, breathable, and reliable components simply indulging in either a predominantly orange or purple color palette. Details referencing either the sun or the moon appear all throughout the sneaker, with the most direct nods appearing on the lockdown strap. Irving's appreciation for ancient cultures, astrology, and nature arrive via the number of symbols and graphics woven into the performance-basketball model's design.

Enjoy detailed product shots of both KAI 1 colorways ahead–courtesy of ANTA Philippines. The 'Sun' and 'Moon' styles should arrive stateside sometime throughout spring for $125.
