Kyrie Irving's 2024-25 NBA season ended prematurely. And while the guard has been enjoying the off-season, he's been working on his game, personal brand, and partnership with ANTA.
To kick off summer, Irving and the Chinese sportswear institution will release the KAI 2 "White Phantom," the latest installment in their industry-impacting collaboration. Tamer than some previous offerings, the predominantly-white basketball sneaker taps into the current Dallas Maverick's movement. Irving moves on-the-court with quiet danger and grace—like a phantom—wowing audiences with his poetic transitions and skills package.
The breathable upper is clad in a clean upper that allows for the slightest contrast to revel in the spotlight. Silver elements on the tongue, profiles, and heel recreate arena lights while also echoing Irving's brilliance. At first glance, the outsole also indulges in an understated finish, but under the right lightning conditions, it glows in a luminous green. The detail draws further inspiration from the one-time NBA champion's game, as he shines bright when everything's on the line.
Enjoy detailed shots of the KAI 2 "White Phantom" ahead. Pairs are set to release via ANTA.com on Wednesday, June 25, for $125.
