Kyrie Irving hasn't played for the Dallas Mavericks during the 2025-26 NBA season, but he continues to celebrate the city, its people, and the culture. For his latest effort, the one-time NBA champion has teamed up with Sneaker Politics for the ANTA KAI 3 "Patchwork," a collaborative basketball sneaker that celebrates unity through artisanal craftsmanship.
The thematic, carefully-crafted pair is the latest style to promote a message near-and-dear to Irving. A partnership with Sneaker Politics further cements the Mavericks guard's place in Dallas, championing community and the Texas city.
The sneaker sees a predominantly blue ensemble, though white-colored embroidery and stitching claim real estate from toe to heel. The decorative detailing brings disparate elements together to create a visually-appealing, performance-oriented sneaker. This project speaks to the power of unity Irving promotes on his social media channels and through his industry-shifting ANTA collaboration.

Beyond the collaborative KAI 3, Irving and Sneaker Politics have teamed up Dallas City Councilmember Lori Blair (District 8) in a community-oriented initiative: the revival of the court at Fahim J. Minkah Park (33000 Highland Woods). The public is invited to the occasion, which takes place on Friday, March 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; free food, games, and music by Aniya will be present.
Enjoy shots of the “Patchwork” KAI 3 ahead. Pairs release early through Sneaker Politics Dallas on Friday, March 20. A wider launch takes place the following day via ANTA.com and select shops.
