The ASICS GEL-Lyte III Just Arrived in Two Tonal Takes
The ASICS Gel Lyte III is arguably the brand’s best contribution to the culture in its 43-year history. And in 2020, the 30th anniversary of the silhouette, we’ve been treated to some of it’s best renditions in recent times, from OGs to Ronnie Fieg’s recent three-piece of Japanese-influenced releases. Now, with Fall right around the corner, the brand looks to deliver a toned-down approach to their time-tested sneaker, with a duo of tonal takes hitting stores today.
Arriving in “Piedmont Grey” and “Cream” the pairs arrive from toe-to-tail in slightly deviating shades of light blue-grey and cream respectively, with contrast left only for the pair’s countless overlays, perforations and stitching nicks. The deviance in materials, too, provides some visual breaks, with plastics in the rear clips and eyelets, along with the sole units providing some subtle shade variance from the all-suede uppers.
Take a closer look at the two new tonal options here below, and you can now find both of these pairs available right now at both SNSand ASICS.com for $110.
