Mita Recalls the "Dried Rose" Colorway for the 35th Anniversary of the ASICS GEL-Lyte III
ASICS is gearing up to mark the 35th anniversary of its iconic GEL-Lyte III in 2025, and fellow countrymen Mita sneakers is readying the celebrations. Their latest project revisits the "Dried Rose" colorway first introduced in 2014 on the GEL-Lyte V, reimagining it on the GEL-Lyte III model.
The "Dried Rose" GEL-Lyte III combines deep burgundy tones on the toe and heel with rich purple on the central panels, embracing the floral inspiration behind the original design. This collaboration goes beyond color; it introduces a variety of premium materials and design tweaks. Noteworthy features include a quilted collar, a unifying zipper on the split tongue, and special edition insoles, enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and functionality of the shoe.
Currently, the release is available through an online raffle exclusive to Japan, with winners set to be announced on October 5th. A global release has yet to be confirmed.
