    The buildup has been big. Sean Wotherspoon’s name in its own right is enough to raise the clout levels, but now the stakes have been raised. The centerpiece of the ASICS GEL-Lyte III’s 30th-anniversary celebration has just added in another heavyweight in atmos. That’s right, the previously-previewed Sean Wotherspoon x ASICS GEL-Lyte III is actually a three-way, inclusive of the Japanese culture kings.


    Unveiled yesterday by Sean himself, mismatched tear-away pairs show dual branding on the heels Like his game-changing Air Max 97/1, corduroy covers the pair, and it also includes Velcro — although this time enabling a greater level of customization that the tongue piece. As you can see, the profile’s tiger stripe options are laid out in piles in green, red, blue, black and yellow, We don’t have a decent look at the upper yet — but we’re expecting more looks to arrive shortly.     Update 06.19.20 A release date is finally here! The Sean Wotherspoon x atmos x ASICS GEL-Lyte III has been confirmed for release at the Japanese-based retailers on June 27th in adults and kids sizing. A special clothing and accessories capsule will also be releasing alongside the pairs. As for a US release date, though, is yet to be confirmed. And considering the state of Round Two LA’s storefront, it could be a while off. Until we get a word, take a look at the collection here below, and keep your eyes locked on our official Twitter account for updates.

    Update 07.05.20 An atmos US Release date for the Sean Wotherspoon x atmos x ASICS GEL-Lyte III has been confirmed for August 7th, with raffles open right now at Ubiq and atmos NYC. Both stores will be providing pairs online, with toddler sizes only available for in-store pickup at atmos NYC. Take a look at the pair here below, and hit the relevant raffle links below to enter.     Update 01.25.20 Sean Wotherspoon has yet-again taken to the ‘gram to flex some more shots of his upcoming ASICS GEL-Lyte III x atmos co-collaboration — this time giving us our best looks yet. He goes on to say that the sample is “almost ready” indicating a proximal release. Take a look at the fresh batch of shots below.


    Update 12.31.19 Sean has shared some preschool-sized samples of his upcoming atmos x ASICS GEL-Lyte III collaboration, which also arrives with 5 interchangeable Tiger stripe options. It’s unclear if the retail release will include kids-sizes, but we’ll be sure to keep you up to date with more info as it arrives.
