INVINCIBLE x ASICS GEL-NIMBUS® 10.1 "HTTP 404" Sees Global Launch on July 19
Taiwan's INVINCIBLE is no stranger to ASICS, but its recent GEL-NIMBUS® 10.1 "HTTP 404" collaboration has gotten global attention like no other.
Inspired by notions of "refined chaos" and "asymmetry," the project made an early debut during Paris Fashion Week®. In partnership with solebox Paris, INVINCIBLE launched the shoe in limited numbers, treating those present in the French capital to two styles of the collaboration. Both colorways feature a semi-translucent rip-stop toe box, loose strings across profile vector logos, and co-branding throughout the upper. Rich blue and green animate lace loops, heel accents, and mid-foot shanks between the duo, with both styles set to see a wider launch soon.
According to INVINCIBLE, the "HTTP 404" GEL-NIMBUS® will first launch via a global online raffle hosted at invinciblesp.com from now until Thursday, July 10, at 6 p.m. Taipei Standard Time (6 a.m. EST). The green colorway is exclusive to INVINCIBLE stores.
INVINCIBLE locations across Asia will host in-store drops for the project on Saturday, July 12, followed by a global release via select ASICS shops on Saturday, July 19.
In other sneaker news, the Tom Sachs Mars Yard 3.0 collaboration with Nike is expected to drop throughout September.
