Kiko Kostadinov and ASICS are the gift that keeps on giving. Shortly after reviving the UB9-S GEL-DS TRAINER™ 14, the duo has introduced the GEL-KIRIL™ III to the market, a silhouette that draws from Japanese craftsmanship and industrial heritage.

The London-based designer has already launched the silhouette in two colorways via his webstore. 'Black/Deep Navy' and 'Bronze/Brown' offer much tamer looks than Kostadinov's previous work on the ASICS GEL-KIRIL™ line. Both styles exemplify why the Bulgarian-English creative's work for the Japanese sportswear institution has captivated audiences since 2018.

The GEL-KIRIL™ III features a raised TPU front inspired by contemporary ASICS designs for the working crowd. Aesthetically, the component delivers an aggressive and peculiar look that's softened by the debossed floral patterns found across the upper and sole unit. FLYTEFOAM™ PROPEL cushioning works together with visible GEL units to provide a comfortable, aero-dynamic ride. An AHARPLUS™ heel plug also brings ASICS' performance expertise to the fashionable project, injecting longterm durability into both styles. Together, the aforementioned elements breath new life into the KIRIL™ series' utilitarian nature.

Head over to KikoKostadinov.com right now to secure your GEL-KIRIL™ III for approximately $291. A global ASICS.com release date is expected to take place sometime throughout March. Campaign photography for the inaugural duo was shot in Chiba, Japan, and features real-life scaffolding builders testing out the shoes.
