Thom Browne's ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14™ Collection to Release March 2
Thom Browne, the eponymous label based in New York, unveiled a multi-piece ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14™ collaboration as part of its latest fashion show. Three different meticulously-crafted pairs are expected to launch by the beginning of spring.
Although the GEL-KAYANO 14™ has cooled down a bit in terms of popularity, it continues to be one of the Japanese institution's more important silhouettes. Thom Browne's interpretation of the retro runner keeps its DNA intact, but brings premium materials and a thoughtful, detail-oriented execution to it, making the sneaker fit in with the label's elegant and modern tailored looks.
Specifics about materials used are still under wraps, but the collaborative ASICS project sees three different color options—white, grey, black—take over the viz-tech proposal. What seems like perforated leather, suede, and other elevated components come together throughout each build, which also features Thom Browne's classic tri-colored flag at the heel.
Enjoy e-commerce shots ahead. Pairs are expected to launch via Thom Browne on Monday, March 2, before releasing via global ASICS stockists.
Away from the Japanese sportswear giant, the Nike Air Max 95 continues to expand its roster of styles.
