The Claymation Shoe by Bravest Studios Will Have You Feeling Like a Tim Burton Film Protagonist

Some time is still left before the holiday season officially commences, but Bravest Studios is already treating its cult-like following to another playful and bold footwear project: the Claymation Shoe.

If upon seeing the pair for the first time you immediately thought of the world of Tim Burton, that's the point. The New York City-based team hand-sculpted the silhouette's original mold out of clay, obsessing over every last detail as it has with its AirPack and Wheat Loafer releases. The piece was then 3D-scanned to create a final production mold. A comfortable foam material was used for wearable editions, which are hand-painted a red-and-white color scheme.

Bravest Studios has described the Claymation Shoe as "one of our most complex developments yet…" continuing its mission of disrupting the consumer goods space with innovation and creativity. The slip-on style features a bulbous forefoot and undone laces for an aesthetic that'll not only have you feeling like the protagonist of a claymation film, but also lead to countless stares while out-and-about.
