The Concept Lab : Air Jordan 13 “Bred 2.0”

2017 is the year of the Air Jordan 13. It’s the sneaker’s 20th anniversary and Jordan Brand have celebrated it well, with the introduction of some new and sample colorways along with the return of some OG classics.

The one colorway that did top our list was in fact the OG Bred 13 with 3M – but I had always thought that a classic Bred colorway included some white in the midsole – like the Jordan 3, 4, 6 (to an extent), 8, 9 and 11.

Today’s concept is clearly based off my all time favorite OG Bred – the Air Jordan 11 – that has an unmistakable wavy midsole. And in my honest opinion, I think these would have been a nicer fit for the Bred offering from Jordan Brand way back in 1998.

But hey – I’m still not complaining about the Bred sneaker we actually got over 20 years ago – I still love that OG to bits.

So what say you? Hot or Not? Tell us what you think of today’s concept in a comment below!
