We’re back. It’s been a minute since we dived into the Concept Lab — and we wanted to make sure we came back with a bang: introducing our version of an Air Jordan 3 “Taxi”
Our Air Jordan 3 “Taxi” Concept bleeds Jordan Brand history. It has established itself as a mainstay of Jordan Brand colorways, joining the likes of the “Bred” and “Cool Grey” in Jumpman-coined terms. And while the OG “Taxi” colorway is predominately white, it’s lent itself to any yellow/black/white/red-based Jordan for decades; But we all know taxi cabs are yellow — a color is rarely seen in the Jordan retro range — so we thought it was about time to bring more of it to the forefront.

Gone is the traditional color blocking in favor of bold black tongues, liners, eyelet panels, collar, heel clip, rear midsole, and outsoles, with a vivid yellow suede upper the pair’s championing feature. Classic white midsoles and cement elephant print keep a retrospective vibe, and the taxi theme is complete with bright red Jumpman branding.
