Showing a penchant for a classic style that's most obvious for his love of the ’59 Chevrolet Impala, Phoenix Sun superstar Devin Booker has a long-standing love for the Converse Chuck 70.
Often sporting the classic sneaker as part of his effortlessly-cool tunnel fits, it's only fitting that Book debuted his inaugural Nike, Inc. collaboration during his arrival at the regular-season finale against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.
Harkening back to what makes the silhouette so transcendent, Book has stripped back the silhouette to absolute basics, delivering a completely tonal "Egret" colorway constructed mostly on canvas. Tonal stitching on the medial ankle is barely noticeable, while foxing along the midsole is absent. Instead, we see a wrap completely colorless, but we do catch a glimpse of a glorious light gum rubber outsole underfoot.
See for yourself below, and look for the Devin Booker x Converse Chuck 70 to release this Wednesday, April 12th, for $95 on Converse.com, and April 13th on Foot Locker.
