The Coca-Cola Company and Converse have teamed up to create one of the footwear industry's most iconic collaborations of the year. A high-quality leather Chuck 70 and canvas editions of the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star take on co-branding from two North American institutions.
Announced with the help of Long Beach, Calif.'s Vince Staples, the collection celebrates connection, creativity, and cultural legacy. Campaign visuals were directed by Bradley Calder and showcase a premium Converse Chuck 70 in a "Racing Red/Egret/Black" color scheme. Coca-Cola's stripe branding runs across the profiles with other special detailing arriving on the insoles, outsoles, and medial heel patch.
Accompanying Chuck Taylor All Star styles feature much of the same details, but forgo a leather build across the upper for a standard presentation that harkens back to the silhouette's origins.
Enjoy detailed images of the Coca-Cola x Converse collection ahead. The leather pair kicks things off via Converse.com on Thursday, Oct. 9; canvas pairs will release globally in November to anticipate the holiday gifting season.
