Few animated characters carry the cultural weight of Doraemon. Since his debut in 1969, the robotic cat from the 22nd century has captivated generations with futuristic gadgets and heartfelt storytelling. Doraemon’s influence stretches well beyond Japan, spreading manga, television, and film, cementing his status as a global icon. Now, Converse is tapping into that legacy with a new footwear and apparel collection set to release on June 17.
Headlining the capsule are two standout sneakers: the Chuck 70 and the All-Star, both decked out in vibrant Doraemon-themed prints. The Chuck 70 features an orange-pink gradient upper adorned with digital pixel-like patterns and a large Doraemon graphic at the heel. Meanwhile, the All-Star opts for a crisp white base layered with a repeating print of the blue feline in various animated expressions and poses.
The Doraemon x Converse collection doesn’t stop at footwear. The drop will also include foam clogs and clothing options in both adult and kids sizing, making it a full-family affair. Whether you’re a longtime fan of the franchise or drawn to its colorful visuals, there’s something here for every age group.
The Doraemon x Converse collection will release on June 17 via Converse.com and select retailers.
