Converse Japan is set to release a new Naruto Shippuden collection, further strengthening the ongoing relationship between anime culture and classic footwear silhouettes.

The capsule centers around the Converse All Star Hi and All Star Ox, each reinterpreted through the lens of key characters and visual themes from the Naruto Shippuden universe. The high-top models carry the most expressive storytelling elements. Graphic treatments inspired by Itachi Uchiha’s Akatsuki cloak appear in striking red and black, while flame-like details nod to the Hokage robe worn by Naruto in his later evolution. The iconic Chuck Taylor upper serves as a blank canvas, allowing these anime references to feel bold without overwhelming the silhouette’s heritage design.

The low-top All-Star Ox offerings take a more restrained approach. Each pair adopts the color palette of central characters such as Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, and Kakashi Hatake. Subtle clan insignias are placed at the heel, offering a quieter tribute for longtime fans who appreciate detailed callbacks rather than overt graphics. The balance between wearability and character-specific storytelling makes the collection accessible beyond just collectors.

This marks another chapter in Converse’s growing anime portfolio, though it’s important to clarify that Converse Japan operates independently from the Nike-owned Converse division in the United States. As such, the Naruto Shippuden collection is currently limited to the Japanese market, with no confirmation of a wider global launch.

The Converse Japan x Naruto Shippuden collection is scheduled to release on February 20 via Converse Japan and select retailers, including legends of the region, atmos.

Fans outside Japan may need to rely on secondary channels to secure a pair.

In other Converse news, SGA's pink SHAI 001 is expected to release soon.
