Juicy Couture Brings Its 2000s Attitude to the Crocs Classic and Bae Clogs
Yes, you read that headline correctly.
Crocs is following up its recent string of collaborations – which includes a style inspired by Peanuts' Snoopy – with an unexpected Classic + Bae Clog given the Juicy Couture makeover.
The popular, Los Angeles-based brand is far removed from its heyday in the 2000s, but it's gained some favorable exposure over the last few years thanks to changing trends and cool co-signs by influencers. Juicy Couture's irreverent track suit might not be in vogue anytime soon, but it seems like Crocs' collaboration with the 29-year-old label is getting ahead of the moment when Juicy on the rear is commonplace again.
Unsurprisingly, the Classic Clog takes on different shades of pink, with a traditional bold hue animating everything across the top-half and slip-resistant outsole. Juicy Couture's initials and iconic heart logo is printed throughout the perforated upper, which makes way for bedazzled Jibbitz™ Charms. A shimmering silver J replaces the traditional crocodile mascot on the rear strap, while a special message lands on the insole: "For Nice Girls Who Like Stuff."
Bringing glitz and glam that´s oh-so-familiar to the brand are the platformed Juicy Couture x Crocs Bae Clog, with rhinestones covering the entire forefoot, complete with ´Juicy´ branding beneath. A gradient platform sole and rear Jibbitz round out the design.
