Salehe Bembury continues to charge forward in the world of footwear with his innovative designs, this time unveiling a new colorway for the Crocs Juniper, named "Tahini."
Demand has remained high after the model's debut at the end of May, prompting Bembury to introduce this third iteration via his Instagram.
The Crocs Juniper first made waves with the "Guava" colorway, characterized by its vibrant pink and green hues, followed by the "Tree Camo" version with its bold print. The "Tahini," however, opts for a more subdued aesthetic. It features a clean, all-white upper that extends from the breathable TPU heel to the foxing panel. This minimalist approach is contrasted subtly by an earthy translucent gum underfoot, continuing the theme of nature that Bembury often explores in his designs.
In a unique twist that reflects Bembury's passion for the environment, he has announced a limited giveaway of the "Tahini" colorway. Participants are challenged to clean up a local environment—be it a park, street, or stream—share before and after photos on their story and tag him. A few lucky followers will then be selected to receive a pair of the new Junipers, reinforcing the designer's commitment to environmental consciousness.
Currently, the release date for the "Tahini" Crocs Juniper is set for September 5th via beaspunge.com; a release on Crocs.com is expected shortly after that.
