Gotta Go Fast!: Sonic the Hedgehog x Crocs Classic Clog Is Made for Sport Mode

By the time it's all said and done, we might be hard-pressed to find a beloved franchise with which Crocs hasn't collaborated. Ahead of summer, Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog has appeared with its own Classic Clog project.

Fresh off a first-look at the Dragon Ball Z capsule inspired by Frieza and Cell, the Colorado-based expert in comfort has prepped its popular slip-on in a playful ensemble dedicated to the fast fictional hedgehog and other members of his universe. Although Sonic the Hedgehog 4 isn't slated for a launch until 2027, the franchise continues to enjoy a cult-like following.

Developed and launched by Sega in 1991, Sonic has gone on to be more than a simple video game title. Crocs' collaborative Classic Clog, however, draws inspiration from the virtual platform, depicting the titular character in a vibrant setting that could very well be a video game level. Rings and other elements from the world of Sonic the Hedgehog appear across the Croslite™ upper and sip-resistant tooling; traditional branding on the heel strap's hinge is replaced with a golden ring. Jibbitz™ charms shaped as Sonic, Tails, and recognizable items from the game round out the special pair.
