A Detailed Look at Virgil Abloh’s OFF-WHITE x Nike Samples at MCA Chicago

A highlight of his ‘Figures of Speech’ exhibit.

On display at Virgil Abloh’s Figures of Speech exhibit at MCA Chicago is a full spread of unreleased OFF-WHITE x Nike and Jordan Brand samples created by the head of Lous Vuitton Menswear himself. Ranging from Sock Darts to Zoom Flys and an array of new Track and Field varients, the wide collection had a few clear standouts — mainly from Jordan Brand — the reworked Air Jordan 4 “Black Cement,” complete with translucent wings, heel tabs, and exposed liners, as well as a similarly styled tan rendition of the 1989 icon.
