Is BOOST back?

After a whirlwind start, and sharp drop-off, the adidas Ultra BOOST has experienced the highest highs and the lowest lows, but could we once again be seeing the BOOST’s return to the top? This year we’ve seen two BAPE x adidas Ultra BOOSTs hit stores, and now another big name is getting in on the action: LA’s Undefeated.

This time around, Undefeated has gone full-patriotic with stars and stripes in a Fourth of July-friendly red white and blue. A White Primeknit upper, heel counters and sole unit anchor the design, paired with translucent cage overlays. The oversized Undefeated logo on teach forefoot makes a bold AF statement, arriving in alternating infrared and royal, with each pair donning opposing colored laces.

adidas will also be releasing a black and white duo of MADNESS x adidas Ultra BOOSTs this year, which begs the question: is BOOST back?

Official images of the patriotic Undefeated x adidas Ultra BOOST have surfaced, and they differ slightly from the first looks at the sample pair, with forefoot branding now arriving off-center and on a 45-degree angle. Pairs are said to be hitting select Asian retailers on May 1st, but a Stateside release is still TBA, so stay tuned for more.
