REPORT // Cavs and 76ers in Talks Over Potential Markelle Fultz Trade
It’sno secret that the Philadelphia 76ers have reached the end of their tether with their 2017 first-round pick Markelle Fultz. How could you not be? He’s shown absolutely nothing in his short time in Philly, definiately not living up to the expectations of a number one pick., especially when compared to teammate and also pick numero uno, Ben Simmons.
And their distain is even more evident by how the team starting to shop him around.
NBA insider Sam Amico has now reported that the 76ers have spoken to the Cleveland Cavaliers about a potential deal for the former first overall pick.
Could the former Washington star head to LeBron’s old stomping grounds?

Since entering the league last season, Fultz has struggled to sniff first-round potential, with his jumper looking worse each game.
His free-throw shooting struggles have been well-documented too, and have even been mocked by other professional athletes.

Fultz has also had injury issues during his time in Philly, as he played in just 14 games during the 2017-18 season due to a shoulder injury.
Perhaps a new home will be what Fultz needs in order to improve himself as the NBA player. Would Cleveland be the right place for him to get his career back on track? Should a deal go down, he’d have a lot of work to do to win over the Cleveland faithful.
