Steph Curry Involved in Multi-Car Accident

This won’t help that groin injury.

According to local reports out in the Bay Area, ​Golden State Warriors point guard ​Stephen Curry was involved in a multi-car crash on Highway 24. Luckily, he appears to be fine, pending further evaluation

The crash happened as Curry was headed to shootaround. He’s at the facility and is still unavailable to play tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers as he continues to nurse a groin strain.

​​The crash happened this morning just before 9 a.m. local time. According to a California Highway Patrol spokesman, Curry was hit twice. First, a car spun out and hit him, and then a second car came into the fold and rear-ended him.

Curry’s car was damaged, but everyone appears to be fine. Terrifying stuff, though, especially with the bizarre circumstance of being struck twice by two separate vehicles involved.

As if the bad couldn’t get worse for the scuffling Warriors right about now. This was nearly their fifth straight loss.
