Fine Fours.
Following on from our 10 of the Best Unreleased Air Jordan 5 Samples Ever Made! list, we decided to move onto the 4 — a silhouette that is as relevant as ever, thirty years after its inception. In fact, I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t like the Four — that’s how good a job Tinker Hatfield did back in 1989.
The 30th anniversary of the silhouette is headlined by the return of the classic “Black Cement” OG this May, but the complimentary releases this year have been received poorly. From the Flight Nostalgia to the Silt Red, and even the shelf-sitting “Black Laser”, 2019’s Air Jordan 4 releases have been disappointing. And it makes me wonder — how did these make it through to market when I know of a slew of sample colorways that never did?
And I can guarantee that you’d want any of these over what we’ve received so far this year.
SO here are ten of the best Air Jordan 4 Samples that never made it to market (but wish that they did!)
