Air Jordan 1 Acclimate Appears in “Brown Basalt”

The just-revealed Air Jordan 1 Acclimate is wasting no time in unveiling new colorways, with this morning’s “Triple Black” offeringmet by a follow-up option in earthy hues. Appearing this evening by-way-off official imagery, the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate “Brown Basalt” serves up much of the same, though it provides us a first look at the design with color contrast and blocking options.

Here, the retooled water-resistant collars and tongues boast liners of a plush blake textile akin to the recent “Toasty” lineage of Nike classics. This, along with the added pulls, tongue tags, and Swoosh underlays are the pair’s only pops of black, with Light Chocolate and the titular Brown Basalt providing the bulk of the design. The former his the aforementioned tongues and collars as well at the semi-perforated toe box, while the dark Basalt shade colors the leather overlays, laces, eyestay hardware, and heel clips. Oatmeal Checks sit atop a white leather mid panel, while high-rise white midsoles and Dark Chocolate outsoles complete the design.

Though there was no confirmed release date penned for the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate “Brown Basalt”, one would expect to see pairs hit select Jumpman cohorts and Nike.com over the Fall/Winter seasons.
